'The Counsellor' - Teaser out!!

Teaser trailer of Ridley Scott's next 'The Counselor' starring Brad Pitt and Michael Fassbender is finally out! Ridley Scott, the epic director of 'Gladiator' and 'Prometheus', is bringing us an all-star thriller about a lawyer who finds himself in over his head when he gets involved in drug trafficking. 'The Counselor' is star studded with Hollywood hulks like Brad Pitt, Michael Fassbender and Javier Bardem and the hotties Natalie Dormer, Penelope Cruz and Cameron Diaz. Casting is spot on and now for the movie to be a big success, they just need a classic script. Movie's coming on the 25th October in the US. Heavy anticipation for this one!

American Hustle Trialer #1

AMERICAN HUSTLE

Seems like David O. Russel is on a roll here. First a sintilating rom-com, Silver Linings Playbook and now the dramatic con flick, American Hustle. The cast of this is half SLP and half The Fighter. The story's about a con artist (Christian Bale) and his partner in crime (Bradley Cooper) who were forced to work with a federal agent to turn the tables on other cons, mobsters, and politicians - namely, the volatile mayor of impoverished Camden, New Jersey. Well, I'm excited about all con movies but for this one, I guess I'm far more eager than I ever am for the others. Hope it'll be as entertaining as O.Russell's other movies. Cheers!

ELYSIUM - Trailer 2 [HD]

Here's trailer 2 of the upcoming movie ELYSIUM starring Matt Damon and Jodie Foster.

ELYSIUM, Written and Directed by Neill Blomkamp, is a Sci-Fi action thriller releasing on 9th August 2013 (USA). The stellar cast and the two exciting trailers are already making news among audiences in USA and abroad. Hope this movie takes the bar set by District 9 (also written by Neill) to an even higher level. Looking forward to it!!

Darren Aronofsky's 'Noah' footage screened at Christian arts festival

Darren Aronofsky's 'Noah' footage screened at Christian arts festival

First footage of Darren Aronofsky's Noah has been screened for Christian film fans at a church conference in Texas, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The story of the chosen one who escapes a terrible flood with a menagerie of animals is not due to hit cinemas until March 2014.
In a video introduction which was briefly posted online but later removed, Aronofsky talks about how a poem he wrote about Noah while in the seventh grade (aged 12 or 13) won a competition for its author to read it at the United Nations. The subsequent experience inspired the film-maker to pursue a career as a writer.
"Noah's very much been a patron saint in my life leading me toward my creative endeavours," Aronofsky told the audience at the Echo church conference, which - according to the festival's website - is a meeting place for artists, geeks and storytellers. Aronofsky added that he hoped to stay as close as possible to the words of the Bible.
"I'm excited that Hollywood has finally agreed to make the first biblical epic in almost 50 years," he said. "It's been a long time since Bible movies were on the screen, and there's been a lot of advancements in technology and special effects, and maybe that's the reason why Noah's never been attempted on the big screen before, because of the size and scale of the deluge and all the different animals … But now, finally, with Hollywood's help, we can actually do this and bring it to life."
Noah stars Russell Crowe as the title character, with Anthony Hopkins as Methuselah, his famously long-lived grandfather; Jennifer Connelly as his wife Naameh; and Ray Winstone as villain Tubal-Cain. Studio Paramount will be hoping the film can repeat the box office success of Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ, which took more than $611m (£397m) in 2004 after successfully engaging churchgoing audiences worldwide.

Star Wars: Episode VII to limit cheap CGI tricks and keep it real

Star Wars: Episode VII to limit cheap CGI tricks
and keep it real
Film-makers tell fans they'll 'use every tool in the toolbox' when Episode VII starts filming in the UK next year
The next Star Wars film will eschew CGI in favour of real locations and models wherever possible, according to Kathleen Kennedy, the film executive in charge of the sci-fi adventure.
The LucasFilm boss made the comments at a Star Wars convention, where she also revealed that composer John Williams would return for the upcoming JJ Abrams-directed Episode VII.
"The conversation we're having all the time now about Episode VII is how much CGI," Kennedy told fans at the Star Wars Celebration Europe convention in Essen, Germany. "We're looking at what the early Star Wars films did; they used real locations with special effects. So [for Episode VII] we're going to find some very cool locations, [and] we're going to end up using every single tool in the toolbox."
Estimated release year of Star Wars: Episode VII is 2015. High expectations from JJ Abrams who's taking on the legendary movie series. We'll see how it turns out.
